Tata Zest to be launched in India on August 2014

Tata Motors has officially confirmed the launch of its much waited Zest sedan in the India in August 2014. Tata Zest by Tata Motor is one of the India's most awaited sedan with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) technology, debuted at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014.

Tata Zest has been in the news for its look and price. Now according to the latest report Tata has officially declared that the Zest will be launch in August 2014 in Indian Market.
According to the sources, Zest will be offered with a 1.3 litre Quadrajet engine which will give max power of 90ps at 4,000rpm and will produce the torque of 200nm at 1750-3000rpm, and the 1.2 litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged Revotron engine will generate max power of 85ps at 5000rpm and a peak torque of 140nm at 1750-3000rpm. The dimension of Tata Zest will measure 1695 mm in width, 3995mm in length and 1570mm of a height.
The key features of Tata Zest include:-
First-in-class F-tronic diesel AMT
Revotron 1.2 L Turbocharged MPFi engine with multi-drive mode
Daytime running lights (DRL)
LED tail lamps
New Signature front grille
Harman touch screen multimedia system
Voice recognition and SMS readouts

Tata Zest will be offered in four petrol and three diesel variants, and the price range is expected to fall between INR 5.5 lakhs to INR 7.6 lakhs.
Tata Motor's faced a fierce competition in the Indian market from its rivals and is gradually losing its dominance in the domestic market. But, with the launch of these new cars - Tata's sedan Zest and hatchback Bolt, Tata Motors is now expected to regain their position.
