Honda City:
Honda's bestseller's sales slowed a bit of drop due to the dramatic petrol price hikes, but it still retains the top spot in the entry-level petrol sedan segment. The recent price cuts and low interest rate offers will help ensure a boost in sales.  The new version of Honda City is available in both petrol and first time in diesel version, the 2014 Honda City compete with other entry level sedans like Hyundai Fluidic Verna, Ford Fiesta, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and Nissan Sunny.


The petrol variants is powered by 1.5 Litre SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that churns maximum power of 119bhp with maximum torque of 145 nm, whereas the diesel variant is powered by 1.5 Litre DOHC i-DTEC diesel engine which produces peak power of 100bhp at torque of 200 Nm.


The new Honda City is priced between INR 7.20 Lakhs to 11.06 Lakhs.

The new Fluidic Verna is named after the ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design language that all new Hyundai cars are based on. Hyundai Fluidic Verna provides a blend of exquisite, comfortable & classy interior with sporty exterior.


Hyundai Verna Fluidic is available in both petrol and diesel version, 1.4litre 4 cylinder petrol engine (DOHC VTVT) with maximum power output of 107bhp and can produce the torque of 155nm on the other hand, 1.4 litre 4 cylinder diesel engine, max power of 90bhp, can produce the torque of 260nm.
