Ciaz will be the next launch
from Maruti after successful Maruti Celerio, Ciaz will be replacement
for Maruti sx4. Maruti Ciaz will be tentatively launched in September
end or October beginning during the Indian festive season. Maruti is
also planning to launch Maruti cross but that will be next year.
Maruti Ciaz was unveiled at Delhi auto expo 2014 has many futuristic styling details. The production of Ciaz ofcourse will not be as futuristic as concept but will retain the basic styling theme which was showcased in the expo. Ciaz overall will be lot more aggressive and futuristic than the SX4, sporting a big chrome grill at the front with sharply designed head lamps. A side and restyling will also be lot more strain than what you see in concept version, but still more aggressive when compared to current SX4. Maruti will also position Ciaz higher than SX4, and will be priced one segment higher. Maruti Ciaz will have same engine used for Maruti Ertiga.
Maruti Ciaz will be tentatively priced between INR 750000 to INR 1100000.
Overall Maruti will have lot of competition for the new Ciaz as the current sedans like Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Nissan Sunny and new 2014 Ford Fiesta have already made the market crowded.
