The Hyundai Xcent is latest sedan in a contemporary design on offering from Hyundai India. A premium compact sedan with an accommodating 407 litre boot, high Fuel-efficiency, Xcent is available in both petrol and diesel version, 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol engine with 81bhp @5000rpm and 2nd Gen 1.1 U2 CRDi Diesel engine with 71bhp @4000rpm.
Hyundai Xcent offers practical diesel & peppy petrol and a Smooth gearbox. Hyundai Xcent is loaded with features like keyless start & go, reversing camera, rear air-con, rear seat armrest, automatic climate control & more, Hyundai’s 5 year extended warranty is also available.
On the other hand Honda Amaze (available in 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine with power of 98.6bhp and 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which churns out 86.8bhp) is an all-rounded compact sedan. Roomier backseat than the Xcent, but smaller 400 Liter boot powered by a 1.5L i-DTEC engine offers segment-best power & performance. Diesel's 25.8 kpl ARAI fuel economy, slick gearshift and easy manoeuvrability for in-city commuting would be any Honda Amaze buyers delight. AT gearbox is also available. In terms of sales the ‘older’ Honda Amaze already sold more than 88,000 units in just one year.

Honda has kept Amaze at very affordable and reasonable price range of INR 4.99 to 7.60 Lakhs, while the Hyundai Xcent is priced in the range of INR 4.69 to7.22 Lakhs for petrol and INR 5.60 to 7.41Lakhs for diesel.
