Polo is gradually getting famous among the Hatchback lovers. Volkswagen
has just launched the updated version of Polo called - 2014 Polo in
India. Below is the quick comparison between these two cars.

Polo and Maruti Swift - both these hatchbacks have got stylish looks
including interior and exterior, in their own way. Volkswagen Polo draws
the attention with its slick and clean lines, while the Maruti Swift is
preferred choice of those car buyers who love rugged and stylish curved

Talking about the engines of these two cars, both the cars are available in petrol and diesel version, the Volkswagen Polo is powered by 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine which produces the max power of 75 bhp with the torque of 110 nm, while the petrol version of Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series, which produces the max power of 87 bhp and torque of 114 nm. On the other hand, the diesel version of Volkswagen Polo is powered by 1.2-litre TDI engine which can produce the max power of 90 bhp with the torque of 230 nm, while the diesel version of Maruti Swift is powered by 1.3-litre Multijet engine which produces the power of 75 bhp and can produce the max torque of 190 nm.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift looks wider than the Polo and offers more shoulder room, while Volkswagen Polo has more headroom at the back than the Swift. Swift gets 232 litre boot space, on the other hand Polo comes with the larger boot space with a wider hatch, Polo also offers a 60:40 split of the rear seat.
